We do not publish a per-kilo price for the US, because a number without your destination city, weight tier and service name would be a guess. Freight is priced from four things: chargeable weight (the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight at 1 CBM = 167 kg), the mode (sea LCL/FCL, air or express), the destination city and address type, and the surcharges your cargo triggers (oversize, remote area, battery, inspection). Send us the weight, carton dimensions and destination and you get the figure in writing. The exact figure depends on chargeable weight, your destination city and whether you need customs clearance and door delivery.

For anything above roughly 100–150 kg or a few CBM, sea freight (LCL) is far cheaper than air — air is for urgent or lightweight, high-value goods. Air is for urgent or lightweight/high-value goods. Use the chargeable weight and the calculator to compare.

CBM (cubic metre) is the volume your goods occupy. For sea LCL, freight is billed per CBM (or per 1,000 kg, whichever is greater — the chargeable weight). Packing tighter and using efficient pallets lowers your CBM and your freight bill.

Roughly: international express 3–7 days, air freight 5–10 days, and sea freight (LCL/FCL) 25–45 days depending on the route. Always add 1–2 weeks for customs clearance at the destination unless you use a door-to-door (DDP) service.
