FBA prep and shipping from China:
labelled, checked and delivered to Amazon
We are the China-side desk for Amazon sellers: collect from your suppliers, check what arrived, label and mark every carton, palletise to specification, then ship door-to-door DDP into US, UK and Canadian fulfilment centres — on one booking, from our contracted forwarder's September 2026 card.
Your cartons are not going to a warehouse you can call
A commercial address takes a delivery and signs for it. An Amazon fulfilment centre accepts or rejects it. That difference is preparation, and preparation is the only part of the journey you can still fix while the goods are in China.
Labels decide acceptance
Two or more FBA labels per carton, on the correct face, with old labels covered. A label that cannot be scanned at receiving stops the carton, not just the day.
Weight marks are mandatory
Team Lift above 22.5 kg and Heavy Package above 15 kg. Missing marks are the single most common rejection cause we see on seller shipments.
Pallet rules are physical
Pallets are measured and weighed at the dock. Over the length, width, height or weight limit and the whole pallet is refused — which on a sea shipment means weeks, not days.
Documents travel with the cargo
The invoice has to show a detailed description, material, use, HS code and declared value, and match the cartons — on DDP we clear in both directions, so a mismatch is our problem to solve at the border.
Delivery is by appointment
Receiving sites take deliveries on a booked slot, arranged by SMS or email — so we need a contact who answers. A missed slot is a second delivery attempt, not a courier re-drop.
Cargo class matters earlier
Batteries, magnetic goods, cosmetics and food cannot ride general lanes. Picking the lane after the goods are packed is how a shipment loses a month.
Eight steps between your supplier and the Amazon dock
All of it happens at our Guangzhou warehouse before the cargo is booked, with photographs you can check.
Receive against your PO
Every supplier delivery is booked in, counted and checked against the purchase order and the packing list — the quantities you paid for, before anything else happens.
Inspect, then photograph
Cartons opened for a contents and condition check, with photographs. Optional AQL pre-shipment inspection with a written report and functional testing if the product warrants it.
Label every carton
Two or more FBA labels per carton, applied to the correct face so they cannot be mistaken at receiving. SKU labels where your plan needs them, and old labels covered, not just over-taped.
Apply weight and handling marks
Team Lift above 22.5 kg, Heavy Package above 15 kg, plus any fragile or orientation marks your plan requires. These missing marks are the most common rejection we see.
Re-pack and square the cartons
Bulging cartons re-taped and squared, loose goods secured inside, voids filled so the carton survives two ocean crossings or an air hub. Irregular packaging is repaired before it is labelled.
Palletise to specification
Pallets built to the size and weight the destination lane accepts, goods secured and corner-protected, positions counted in 120 × 80 cm units where the lane prices by pallet.
Build the document set
Invoice with a detailed description, material, use, HS code and declared value; packing list that matches the cartons; the shipping plan codes; and the export declaration in our name.
Book, load and hand over
One shipment instead of many, export clearance at our end, duty and tax paid at yours on DDP, and a delivery appointment arranged with SMS or email contact for the receiving site.
Need the inspection as well? Our AQL pre-shipment inspection runs on the same visit and produces a written report with photos before anything is labelled and closed. Download the AQL sampling table →
FBA lanes to the three markets our card actually prices
Door-to-door DDP from the forwarder rate card dated 22 September 2026, in RMB. Ranges reflect the lane, the weight tier and — in the US and the UK — the destination zone. Planning reference, not a quotation.
USA
RMB 10.8–71/kg by lane and ZIP zone
Air priority (P) 6–8 working days · Air economy (C) 7–9 working days · Matson sea ~16 natural days · Standard sea ~22 natural days
Three ZIP zones. Commercial delivery +RMB 1/kg. Built-in batteries: air economy (C) and Yantian sea only.
UK
RMB 13–62/kg by lane and import VAT basis
Air 5–7 working days to pickup (LHR clearance) · Rail-truck 25–30 days
Own VAT, VAT deferred or duty paid. Clearance fee RMB 200 per shipment on the own-VAT and deferred bases.
Canada
RMB 1,450–3,850/CBM by city zone
Vancouver 25–30 days door-to-door · Toronto 35–40 days · Oversized truck lanes 30–40 days
Vancouver FBA warehouses (YVR1–4, YXX) from RMB 1,450/CBM. Cosmetics and food ride the MG express lane from RMB 17/kg.
What drives the price on an FBA shipment
Chargeable weight is the greater of actual and volumetric weight (length × width × height in cm ÷ 6,000), and on US lanes a 50% bubble split applies from 100 kg actual per shipment — which is why a carton of bulky light goods can cost less than its size suggests. Minimums are 12 kg per shipment and per piece on US lanes, and 5 kg per shipment with 12 kg per box on UK air. Pallet-based lanes count 120 × 80 cm positions, maximum 100 × 120 × 200 cm and 800 kg on UK lanes, and the receiving site needs a forklift. Price your own US carton in the free calculator →
What gets an FBA shipment rejected
- Labels missing, unreadable, or taped over
- Team Lift mark absent on a piece over 22.5 kg, or Heavy Package absent over 15 kg
- Cartons bulging, split or re-taped so the label face is compromised
- Mixed SKUs in one carton without a matching label for each
- Packing list that does not match the cartons that arrive
- Pallets over the destination length, width, height or weight limit
- Battery or magnetic goods booked on a lane that refuses them
- Cosmetics or food sent as general cargo instead of the express lane with an ingredient list
Every item on that list is checkable in China. That is the whole argument for prepping at the origin rather than at a US warehouse you do not control.

FBA prep and shipping — what sellers ask us
What prep includes, what it costs, how long it takes, what Amazon rejects and how batteries, cosmetics and food travel.
What does FBA prep actually include?
Prep is everything that has to be true before an Amazon warehouse will accept your cartons: each carton carries two or more FBA labels, pieces over 22.5 kg carry a Team Lift mark, pieces over 15 kg carry a Heavy Package mark, cartons are re-taped and squared off, the packing list matches what is inside, and palletised shipments are built to the size and weight the lane accepts. We check all of that at our Guangzhou warehouse — before the cargo is 8,000 km away with no way to fix it.
Do you also do the shipping, or only the prep?
Both, on one booking. Our contracted forwarder's September 2026 card carries door-to-door DDP lanes to US, UK and Canadian FBA warehouses — air at 6–9 working days to pickup on US lanes and 5–7 on UK lanes, sea at 16–22 natural days from departure to the US, 25–40 days to Canada depending on coast — with the duty and the tax paid by us. Consolidating the prep and the freight under one party is the point: if a carton fails a label check, it is our staff catching it, not Amazon rejecting the whole shipment.
Can you ship to a specific FBA warehouse code?
Yes — we ship to the warehouse code on your shipping plan, and on the Canadian card Vancouver FBA warehouses (YVR1–4 and YXX) have their own published rate from RMB 1,450 per CBM. Send us the codes with the shipping plan and we quote the exact lane, tier and delivery fee for each warehouse, because the code decides which port and which city zone the cargo runs through.
How much does FBA shipping from China cost?
On the same rate card: US air priority RMB 54–68/kg, US air economy RMB 57–71/kg, Matson sea RMB 13.5–20/kg and Yantian standard sea RMB 10.8–17/kg depending on your ZIP zone; UK air from RMB 36–62/kg depending on lane and import VAT basis; Canada from RMB 1,450–3,300 per CBM to Vancouver and RMB 1,550–2,250 to Toronto. Commercial delivery surcharges apply on US lanes (+RMB 1/kg), and Canadian customs documentation is RMB 500 per shipment via Vancouver or RMB 350 via Toronto. These are the card's published bands — the exact price comes back in writing within 48 hours.
What makes Amazon reject a shipment, and how do you prevent it?
The rejections we see are almost all preparation failures rather than shipping failures: labels missing, unreadable or on the wrong face of the carton; pieces over 22.5 kg with no Team Lift mark or over 15 kg with no Heavy Package mark; cartons bulging or taped over the label; mixed SKUs in one carton without a label for each; a packing list that does not match the contents; and pallets over the size or weight the destination accepts. Every one of those is checked at our warehouse while the goods are still in China, which is the only place a fix is cheap.
Can I send battery products or cosmetics through FBA?
Yes, on the right lane — and this is where booking the wrong one costs you a month. Built-in batteries and magnetic goods travel on air economy (C) lanes in the US and UK, and on Yantian standard sea freight to the US; air priority (P) and the Matson express lane refuse them. Cosmetics, skincare, food without meat, egg or dairy, and supplements travel on the Canadian MG express lane from RMB 17/kg, with an ingredient list required before booking and formal clearance at Vancouver and Toronto. Pure batteries and power banks are refused everywhere.
How long does FBA shipping from China take?
To the USA: 6–8 working days to pickup by air priority, 7–9 by air economy, about 16 natural days by Matson sea and about 22 by standard sea, all counted from cargo receipt (air) or vessel departure (sea). To the UK: 5–7 working days by air and 25–30 days by rail-truck. To Canada: 25–30 days door-to-door to Vancouver and 35–40 days to Toronto. Add 3–7 days in China for collection, checking, prep and export clearance — and remember Amazon's own receiving queue sits after that.
Do you inspect the goods as well as prep them?
We can, and for FBA sellers it is usually worth it. The prep pass includes a quantity check against your PO and photographs of what actually arrived; add a pre-shipment inspection and we run an AQL sample with a written report, functional testing where it applies and photo evidence before anything is labelled and closed. Catching a defect rate of a few per cent at that stage is cheaper than a removal order from an Amazon warehouse.
