Shipping from China to Canada:
LCL Rates per CBM & City Zones

On our contracted forwarder's September 2026 rate card, Canada is priced per cubic metre, not per kilo, on the sea lanes: Vancouver LCL RMB 1,450–3,300 per CBM, Toronto LCL RMB 1,550–2,250 per CBM, and oversized truck lanes by city zone RMB 1,650–3,850 per CBM. The express MG lanes for cosmetics, food and supplements are priced per kilo: RMB 17/kg for cosmetics and food, RMB 19–25/kg for other sensitive cargo. Rates are door-to-door DDP, in effect 22 September 2026 — planning reference, not a quotation.

Because most cargo moving to Canada on these lanes is furniture, appliances, machinery and other bulky goods where cubic metres — not kilos — are what fill the container, and CBM is how the destination trucking is quoted too. The card converts dense cargo at 1 CBM = 400 kg and rounds to one decimal place. If your cargo is dense and heavy rather than bulky, tell us and we will price both ways and show you which is cheaper.

Vancouver LCL: 25–30 days door-to-door. Toronto LCL: 35–40 days door-to-door. Oversized truck lanes: 30–40 days door-to-door. Express MG lanes (cosmetics, food, supplements) clear formally at Vancouver and Toronto and take 35–40 days to pickup. Add 3–7 days of consolidation and export paperwork in China before the cut-off, and remember that Toronto cargo is railed or trucked across the country after the vessel arrives.

Vancouver FBA warehouses (YVR1–4, YXX) are priced separately.

Yes — the oversized and palletised truck lanes exist for exactly that, and wooden crates are accepted as long as they have hinged lids and 10 cm forklift feet. These lanes are priced per city zone, so a Calgary shipment and a Halifax shipment of the same volume are not the same number. Pieces are consolidated at our Guangzhou warehouse, checked against your packing list and photographed before loading.

MG is our sea express lane for goods that general cargo lanes refuse: cosmetics and skincare, food that contains no meat, egg or dairy, health supplements, and liquids and creams. Rates start at RMB 17/kg for cosmetics and food and RMB 19–25/kg for other sensitive cargo, with a 10 kg minimum per piece and a 29 kg maximum per piece (22–29 kg pieces carry a RMB 180 surcharge each). Clearance is formal entry at both Vancouver and Toronto, and an ingredient list is required before booking. Recipes and label compliance stay the shipper's responsibility.

DDP means the price includes freight, delivery to your nominated address, customs clearance and the duty and tax payable on import: nothing is charged to your company on arrival. Extra, billed at cost: customs documentation handling at RMB 500 per shipment via Vancouver and RMB 350 via Toronto, customs inspection and any detention, demurrage or storage it causes, devanning and handling, second delivery attempts, and remote-area surcharges. Quotes are valid 7 days because space and trucking follow the carrier's latest prices.

Yes, and on CBM-priced lanes it is where the saving is: consolidation is charged by the cubic metre, so one combined shipment instead of four separate ones is usually cheaper than the freight saving alone, before you count the customs entries. We collect from each factory, check quantities against your PO, repack to reduce volume where it makes sense, photograph the goods and hand over one bill of lading, one cut-off and one document set.
